Kunstsammlung NRW – Charlotte Posenenske

Charlotte Posenenske is a path-breaking minimal and conceptual artist of the postwar period in Germany. In her relatively short creative period, Posenenske created an extensive body of work, critically examining the capitalist mechanisms of the art market and opening her art to the “consumer”. The exhibition “Charlotte Posenenske: Work in Progress” at K21 provides a comprehensive overview of her life and work stages. In addition to the exhibition film, a conversation between Renate Wiehager (Daimler Art Collection) and the gallery owner and art collector Paul Maenz was produced.
